The Program Overview
The program aims to create an advanced pool of next-generation FinTech professionals for Freecharge - DBAT team. This program will require learners to:
- Follow the structured set of activities like daily virtual stand-ups, self-learning with practices, context-setting mentor-connect virtual live sessions, tough assignments, group reviews, and bound assignments.
- Spend 70% of the time on coding or code-related activities since the program is highly hands-on based.
- Solve tough problems, complete assignments, submit for review, and refactor based on feedback.
- Release and demonstrate a non-trivial product solving a real world problem.
Your Path to Success
Build a string foundation on JavaScript
Get a complete foundation knowledge of JavaScript that becomes a building block for a FrontEnd or a BackEnd Developer.
FrontEnd / BackEnd Development
Get a detailed immersive experience of either FrontEnd or BackEnd technologies required to be successful in the job role.
Capstone Project Experience
To solidify the learning, learners will undergo 2 weeks of Capstone Project that will allow to Apply & Demonstrate the competencies gained.
FinTech Engineering Program Details
This is an virtual immersive program, which means that the learners will solve various tasks of similar complexity, as they would face in the actual FinTech role at Freecharge. Learners will be working on agile software projects and will undergo extensive practice to get the experience and confidence to perform the role.

Sachin is the Principle Mentor and Product Head at StackRoute and leads many outcome-driven programs across multiple technology tracks. He is a Solutions Architect and Technology evangelist having over 20 years of IT experience on a wide range of technologies/platforms, bringing a unique set of knowledge and skills in IT with the capacity to execute at a business and a technical level.
Sachin has worked on multiple tech platforms and has proven architecting skills solving problems for various platforms Web, Cloud, Architecture patterns – Structural and Distributed Processing, event-driven, service-oriented, micro-services, reactive, stream based, etc. He has also designed, contributed, and specialized in architecting the Ed-Tech platform with proven pedagogies.

Any Graduate IT professional with 1+ years of experience and who are interested to have a rewarding FinTech career should join this course.
All candidates will need to appear and clear an Hackathon (Coding) Assessment and NIIT Interview. The candidates who clear both will be called for an interview by Freecharge. The candidates who clear all the stages will be eligible to join the program and receive the LOI from Freecharge.
The student will be placed as a Software Development Engineer in various FinTech roles at Freecharge.
The training will happen virtually using various online collaborative platforms. Mentors will guide through the program and the entire learners will communicate within themselves using Slack channels.
Eligible candidates should possess good command over the English language, and also should have 1+ years of coding experience.
The student will be placed as a FrontEnd or BackEnd Application developer at Freecharge post successful completion of the program
Freecharge will issue a provisional offer letter to a registered learner that will stand confirmed once the learner completes all phases of the training program successfully. The learner should abide by the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer.
The program fee includes virtual immersive training, Cloud Labs, Curriculum and Mentor Sessions.
Once you are selected by Freecharge in the pre-program Interview, you will have to pay an admission fee of ₹20,000 + GST on getting the admission letter. The balance amount will have to be paid before the commencement of training.
Following documents are required during selection:
- PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Address Proof (Passport / Driving License / Voter’s Id)
- Birth Date Proof (Passport / Driving License / Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate)
- Academic Certificates (X, XII, Graduation all documents)
- Relieving letter from your last employer will be required if you have work experience
Once the program starts, there will be no refund on exiting the program. If you wish to leave the program before it's commencement, then the paid fee is refunded excluding the admission fee of ₹20,000 + GST.
Upon request NIIT will introduce the learner to the NBFC partner who will help in the entire loan application process. The interest and any processing/service fee is to be borne by the loan applicant. NIIT will not ensure or influence the loan sanction as it's a sole discretion of the Loan Provider.
If you are in the final year of your Graduation you can apply, but the program requires you to have completed graduation at the time of training start.
There is no internship involved in this program.
No, this is a full time immersive program and you are required not to be in employment while undergoing this program and at the time of joining this program, you are required to submit a Relieving letter from your last employer.

There is a moratorium period of first 6 months, during which a moratorium EMI is payable. The actual EMI will start only after 6 months of the loan amount sanction. Check the Payment Plans sections for illustration.
